world's smallest camera!

Here's world's smallest camera that is just the size of a fingertip!
A New York firm has developed the world's smallest commercially-available camera that is around the size of a fingertip, but can take two megapixel images and can even shoot video. The camera can reportedly take JPEG images with a resolution of 1600x1200 and comes complete with autofocus.

Hammacher Schlememr insists that the 28-gram, one inch-squared device works perfectly well, despite being the size of a marble. The gadget is set to hit the shelves for 100 dollars.
"Although The World's Smallest Camera is only slightly larger than a marble, it takes still images and records video just like much larger cameras," the Daily Mail quoted Schlemmer's General Manager Fred Berns, as saying.
"It comes with a wrist lanyard that keeps it close to hand and enables ease of portability," he added.Just like regular pieces of photography equipment, this camera also connects to a computer via a USB cable.Technology rocks!

Saw How Amazingly Google Looses it's Gravity?

Did you heard about Google’s gravity loosing? Few days ago while surfing on web, I found this amazing funny thing where Google really looses it’s gravity! So I was thinking to share this with all of you. The term “Google gravity” is actually a Google Chrome experimentmade by Ricardo Cabello and Hi-ReS!What actually it is? Actually google gravity is a funny page where all elements of the Google home page are subjected to gravitational force and they fall down. Javascriptand box2d-js technologies are used to make it.

How to Use, See and Play With Google’s Gravity :
1. Just go google’s home page www.google com.
2. Now in the search bar, type “google gravity” without quotes. Then click on “I’m Felling Lucky“ instead of clicking on “Search” or Suggested links.
3. Now Google will send you a page which will exactly look like main Google. As soon as you mouse pointer will come on the new Google page, all Google elements will fall down
Google elements have fallen down

4. You can also drag and throw or do whatever you want with any broken elements. ( You mast use this from chrome browser. Other wise itmay not work)

New Research : Glass memory can preserve data for thousands of years

When it comes to storing data, DVDs currently provide the best solution for it, but problem with DVDs is that they cannot store your data for long periods, but luckily, scientists have found a new way to store data for long periods.
After hard drives and DVDs, the new medium for storing data might be glass. British researchers have managed to rearrange atoms in glass using laser, so your data will be stored even on 1,800 degrees Fahrenheit, or even under water. Although your data can survive in extreme temperatures, it can also survive for long periods of time as well. By storing data into glass, your data will live for thousands of years, which means that 10 generations after you will have access to it when you’re gone.
This special laser can write, delete, and rewrite data into the molecular structure of the glass, and a piece of glass that is large as a cellphone screen can hold 50GB of data. Although this sounds amazing, we will surely wonder when we will see it in action!

Windows 8 will have improved file management

Windows has changed a lot during the years, and Microsoft has decided to put some new changes in its upcoming OS, Windows 8, and one of the changes that we’re going to see is the improved file management.

Windows offers functional interface, but despite its functionality, this interface has its flaws especially when it comes to the copying of a large number of files. To make copying process a bit harder, there’s a problem with duplicated file names, so copying files can become sometimes a tedious process. Luckily for us, Microsoft has decided to fix this in Windows 8, and now when you’re copying several files simultaneously, you’ll get one dialog box for all transfers, and the great thing about it is that you’ll be to pause a specific transfer and continue it later. In addition, new improved interface allows you to choose which files you want to keep in case you’re trying to overwrite the files.
These are some welcome interface additions that will make our user experience simpler than before, and we can’t wait to try them out.

Control Your Car Using Your Mobile

OnStar Mobile App Technology

Cell phones and cars have historically been a dangerous mix. But this idea was floored at last week's   i-Stage event, where Mavizon Technologies walked away with first place and $40,000 to develop the AutoBot, a smartphone application that allows drivers to control a number of car functions with the touch of a button.
Autobot is nothing but a small piece of hardware mated to your car and syncs up to an Internet-based account, which you can access via a smartphone application. The device is capable of doing things such as sending an SMS when the car leaves a specific boundary or messaging friends and family when the driver meets with an accident. Moreover, AutoBot will allow the driver to lock and unlock doors, control window settings, start the car, locate the car if it gets stolen, and even check engine functions and get tips on saving money.
The most amazing thing is that it works in all vehicles with an OBD-ll port (1996 or later). More details @ Know more
